ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT. Multi-Family Project in Salt Lake City.
JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Project Superintendent will need to oversee the day-to-day work activities at the job site with the goal to have the subcontractors produce quality work in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Help generate and manage three-week rolling schedule
- Help conduct and attend weekly coordination meetings
- Supervise work performed by hired laborers
- Guarantee standards are met for quality construction
- Motivate and lead subcontractor tradesmen
- Provide assistance regarding construction means and methods
- Generate and monitor punchlist for each subcontractor
- Above all, maintain a safe construction site at all times
Qualifications
- Some experience at construction jobsites
- Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
- Understanding of trades
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate and lead effectively
- Ambitious, active and hard-working
