ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT. Multi-Family Project in Salt Lake City.

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Project Superintendent will need to oversee the day-to-day work activities at the job site with the goal to have the subcontractors produce quality work in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

 

Responsibilities

  • Help generate and manage three-week rolling schedule
  • Help conduct and attend weekly coordination meetings
  • Supervise work performed by hired laborers
  • Guarantee standards are met for quality construction
  • Motivate and lead subcontractor tradesmen
  • Provide assistance regarding construction means and methods
  • Generate and monitor punchlist for each subcontractor
  • Above all, maintain a safe construction site at all times

 

Qualifications

  • Some experience at construction jobsites
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
  • Understanding of trades
  • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate and lead effectively
  • Ambitious, active and hard-working
