BYU-Idaho Science and Technology Building

The BYU-Idaho Science and Technology Building project, built for Brigham Young University-Idaho, includes the new construction of an on-campus, 106,008-SF education building in Rexburg, Idaho. The facility includes classrooms, a commercial kitchen, chemical labs, and other technology-rich spaces. The building was constructed with a steel structure, with architectural concrete and glass curtain walls for the exterior cladding. The interior features complex HVAC, electrical, and low- voltage systems designed and chosen to increase energy efficiency throughout the building. During construction, care was taken to limit disruptions to campus functionality and keep safety the first priority.
